Professional Negotiation management and its relationship to the emotional intelligence of employees of family and childhood institutions as an input to improve institutional capacity with a proposal for a counseling program

Abstract

The research aims to study the relationship between managing professional negotiation in its dimensions (deliberation in making professional decisions, cooperation and working within a team, control and fait accompli, active social communication) and emotional intelligence in its dimensions (self-awareness, self-regulation, controlling emotions and enhancing willpower) for workers in family and childhood institutions. In light of improving institutional capacity .The research tools included a general data form for workers, a professional negotiation management questionnaire with its dimensions, and an emotional intelligence questionnaire with its axes. The sample of the basic study consisted of (155) workers in family and childhood institutions, and the sample was selected in a simple random way from the lists of workers in the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The descriptive analytical method was used, and after collecting the data, it was emptied, tabulated, tabulated, and analyzed statistically using the Spss21 program. The results revealed that there is a statistically significant correlation between awareness of professional negotiation management in its dimensions and emotional intelligence in its axes among workers in family and childhood institutions at the level of significance 0.01. The research recommends organizing training courses by home and institutional management specialists - the Faculty of Home Economics, to enhance negotiation management strategies and emotional intelligence for workers in family and childhood institutions.
