Self-Compassion and its Relationship with Level Frustration and Psychological Flexibility for Students of the Faculty of Home Economics Menoufia University.

The study aims to reveal the relationship between self-compassion, Frustration, and psychological resilience among Faculty of Home Economics students. A descriptive correlational approach was used. The sample of the study consisted of (400) male and female students. Moreover, a measure of Self-compassion – a measure of Frustration - and a measure of psychological resilience for students in the academic year (2022-2023) were used. The results showed that the level of Self-Compassion was low, the level of Frustration was high, and the level of psychological resilience was low. There was a statistically significant inverse correlation between the scores of college students on the Self-Compassion scale and their scores on the frustration scale. There was a statistically significant direct correlation between the student's scores on the Self-Compassion scale and their scores on the psychological resilience scale. There is a statistically significant inverse correlation between students' scores on the psychological resilience scale and their scores on the Frustration scale. It is also possible to predict the level of Frustration and psychological resilience among students of the Faculty of Home Economics in the light of their scores on the self-compassion scale. There are also statistically significant differences between the academic teams in Self-Compassion and Psychological flexibility in favor of the first and second teams at the expense of the third and fourth teams, and there are also statistically significant differences between the academic teams in Frustration in favor of the third and fourth teams at the expense of the first and second teams.
