Recycling of things has become an urgent need in our time for several reasons, including the pressing economic need and the creation of employment opportunities for many groups of society like youth and women who support their families, also recycling is a national trend to maximise the direction of sustainable development to achieve social justice in the use of resources for future generations. Objectives of the study; (1) Study of the possibility of taking advantage of women's old head coverings. (2) Develop designs suitable for children's clothing and match the women's old head coverings materials. (3) Perform some designs for children's clothing using old women's head coverings. (4) Determining the extent to which the products are suitable from point of view of specialists. (5) Determining the acceptability of products carried out by both mothers and children. Results of the study: There are no effective solutions in recycling head coverings in the research sample. There are statistically significant differences between the proposed designs in terms of the aesthetic side. There are statistically significant differences between the proposed designs in terms of the functional side. There are statistically significant differences between the proposed designs in terms of the technical aspect. There is a grade of acceptability for the products implemented for both mothers and children sample. Recommendations of the study: Working in a mechanism to collect a large number of female head coverings from their owners. Take interest in recycling worn clothes in innovative and non-traditional ways. Encourage the idea of designing a clothes compatible with the designs of recycled clothing fabrics. Adopting the trend of sustainable development and applying it to studies related to clothing and textiles.
