Abstract

The garment industry is moving towards the production of clothing that satisfies consumers' desires, where the modern era has witnessed a great development in knitting fabrics due to its low cost of production, which leads to a relatively cheap price compared to its textile equivalents. The garment industry depends on the properties of the fiber and the method of making of each the yarns and fabrics in addition to different mixing ratios to determine the quality of the product and its suitability for functional performance.
Models are regarded as an essential, accurate and important phase while producing garments, depending on actual sizes to obtain correct gradient differences for good, accurate models.Knowing that most of the factories do not use the machines for the grading of models due to high price and it became reliance on the model maker.
Girls' pants are considered to be a basic piece of the university girl; especially ones made of Lycra blended knit fabric.
With the aim of achieving an indicative table for the measurements of the girls' pants (university girl), according to the Egyptian bodies (intentional samples), and according to the mid-circumference measurement, and to prepare a well-proposed model on the first material. And to modify the proposed form of work in case of using the second material (blended with Lycra).
The most important results:
-Clarification of the effect of physical measurements and materials used as factors affecting the good control ofthe girls' pants under study.
-Preparation of a modified model to be used in the case of using of material blended with Lycra.
