A training program in recycling the remnants of fabrics and using them to enrich productive families' projects using the patchwork method

Abstract

The productive families' projects are considered one of the most important projects that achieve economic benefit for societies, especially for developing societies, because they have an effective role in training youth and investing their energies and encouraging them to establish their own small production units, which contributes to the elimination of unemployment. So this research aims to make a training program for a sample of productive families (furnishings) in the recycling of the remnants of fabrics and exhausts of ready-made clothes and furnishings by the way of Patchwork. In addition to the results of this research showed the effectiveness of the proposed training program in developing the knowledge and skills of the productive families in the use of fabric and raw materials in the production of Innovative designs and variety of furnishings by the way of Patchwork.
