Abstract

The research aimed to design instructional guide for the “Curriculum Dramatization” course, incorporating selected AI facilitation tools to support the teaching of the practical component. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology. The basic research sample consisted of (15) specialized experts to verify the research tools that were represented after their refinement of a list of dramatization skills, including (9) main skills of dramatization and (26) sub-skills, alongside a proposed list of generative Artificial Intelligence tools to be integrated into the instructional guide. This list covered four application domains comprising (8) specific tools. Both lists were incorporated into the proposed applied instructional guide for the Curriculum Dramatization course. The guide included the following components: an introduction, fundamental concepts of curriculum dramatization and its educational value in teaching Home Economics, key elements of dramatization and their practical applications, dramatization skills and generative AI applications and their functions, learning strategies and resources, assessment methods, a timeline for delivering sessions, practical activities for (11) sessions, and samples of proposed curriculum dramatization projects. The study recommended that the applied instructional guide be submitted to the Department of Educational Home Economics for official adoption in teaching the Curriculum Dramatization course, along with training of the teaching assistants starting next academic year.
