The Effectiveness of REACT Strategy in Developing Micro-Teaching Skills and Positive Thinking Skills among Students of the Department of Home Economics in the Faculty of Specific Education

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of the REACT strategy in developing micro-teaching skills and positive thinking skills among female students of the Home Economics Department at the Faculty of Specific Education, Damietta University, To achieve this, a list of positive thinking skills that can be developed among female students of the Home Economics Department at the Faculty of Specific Education, Damietta University, was prepared, A scale for positive thinking skills was prepared, and an observation card for micro-teaching skills was prepared. The research sample consisted of two groups of second-year female students of the Home Economics Department at the Faculty of Specific Education, Damietta University, whose number reached (64) students, who were divided into (32) female students as an experimental group and (32) female students as a control group, The experimental group was taught using the REACT strategy and the control group was taught in the usual way, The descriptive and quasi-experimental approaches were used, and both the positive thinking skills scale and the micro-teaching skills observation card were applied before and after to the experimental and control groups, The research concluded that the use of the REACT strategy in developing micro-teaching skills and positive thinking skills among female students of the experimental group was effective.
