Abstract

The possibility of benefiting from the Grasoper program to apply parametric design direction, which is a set of parameters (variables for a specific design), and the production, formation, and change of its proportions are controlled by controlling the change in the values of those parameters. By changing them, it is possible to produce an infinite number of dissimilar designs within the program, in addition to the fact that the final geometric shape appears coherently to achieve the geometric coherence of the shape used, and this is done using a group of simple geometric shapes (square - star - rhombus - polygons and others) of simple geometric shapes to obtain the possibility of obtaining an extensive and innovative group of different decorative shapes. Moreover, it can be applied to clothing in children’s late childhood stages (9-12). This is to achieve the primary goal of benefiting from laser technology and enriching the design process for children’s clothing in the late childhood stage. A descriptive and analytical approach was used to analyze geometric shapes, and an applied approach was used to implement this on children’s clothes in the late childhood stage. The most important finding of the results was the suitability of using the program’s geometric shapes and networks in achieving the parametric design direction of the design and achieving the overall functional and innovative aspect of the proposed designs and benefiting from them in creating designs suitable for children’s clothing using laser discharge technology.
