Abstract

The current research aimed to examine The effectiveness of using the Imaginative Learning Strategy in teaching ”Home Economics” to Develop Analytical Thinking Skills and Academic Ambition among the Preparatory Stage Female Students, The number of the research sample was (60) female students, who were divided into two groups (30) female students as an experimental group, and (30) female students as a control group, In the light of the main aim of the research quasi-experimental method (of pre- post-test design) was applied, in addition to the descriptive method, the following tools were prepared: (Analytical Thinking Skills, and Academic Ambition Scale), Results revealed that: There are statistically significant differences at level (0,01) between the mean scores of students in the experimental and control group in the post application of The Analytical Thinking Skills Test in favor of the experimental group, There are statistically significant differences at level (0,01) between the mean scores of students in the experimental and control group in the post application of The Academic Ambition Scale in favor of the experimental group, There is correlation statistically significant at level between The Analytical Thinking Skills Test and the scores of The Academic Ambition Scale in the post application in favor of the experimental group, Which confirms the effectiveness of using the imaginative learning strategy in teaching home economics to develop analytical thinking skills and academic ambition among middle school female students.
