Abstract

The research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a proposed program in developing leadership skills and effective communication among female students at Samtah University College. The research tools were educational modules that relied on blended learning in their processing, preparing a situational test to measure leadership skills, and preparing a note card for communication skills. The research was based on the curriculum. Descriptive and quasi-experimental two-group experimental and control group (pre-post), where the experimental group is exposed to the proposed program, while the control group is exposed to traditional learning. The sample consisted of (120) female students, randomly distributed into two groups: experimental (60 female students) and control (60 female students). The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the female students of the experimental and control groups in the post-application of the leadership skills test and the communication skills note card in favor of the female students of the experimental group, and the existence of a correlation between the scores of the female college students in the post-application of the leadership skills test and their scores in the post-application. To test effective communication skills for the benefit of the experimental group, which indicates the effectiveness of the proposed program in developing leadership skills and effective communication for female students, and recommends the necessity of including the necessary experiences and activities to develop leadership skills and effective communication skills among female students at Samtah University College.
