Abstract

The primary aim of the study is to examine the nature of the correlation between rationalizing family consumption in the context of the circular economy. The existing study tools comprised the subsequent instruments: A household data form is used to collect information on women's contribution to rationalizing household consumption in the context of the circular economy. The questionnaire focuses on various aspects, including consumer attitudes towards consumption rationalization, women's influence on family members' adoption of sustainable household consumption practices, and the promotion of resource protection and sustainability. Additionally, the questionnaire also measures economic and social well-being. The study instruments were administered through personal interviews with a sample of 500 housewives in Menoufia Governorate. The interviews were conducted using a paper questionnaire. The sample included housewives from various educational, economic, and social backgrounds. This study utilized a descriptive and analytical methodology and found a correlation between women's capacity to rationalize family spending within the context of the circular economy and the study sample. The report suggests implementing comprehensive guidance programs to educate women extensively on the significance of the circular economy in ensuring the long-term sustainability of family resources.
