Abstract

Marital conflicts must be examined and resolved completely. This may be because marital disagreements are significant and impact spousal relationship dynamics and stability. The primary objective of this research is to examine the management of marital conflicts and their impact on the stability of families, specifically among a group of married women who are homemakers. The research employed a descriptive-analytical technique, including validated questionnaires on the management of marital disagreements and family stability. The sample comprised 600 married women who were neither divorced nor widowed and were selected in a controlled way from various social and economic backgrounds. The findings indicated a statistically significant positive link (p < 0.001) between the overall handling of marital conflicts and the overall stability of the family, including its many aspects. Moreover, a significant positive association was found between the educational attainment of housewives and their capacity to effectively handle marital conflicts and maintain family stability, with a significance level of 0.01. Furthermore, there was no statistically significant difference among housewives in their overall handling of marital conflicts based on the kind of dwelling. Nevertheless, a statistically significant disparity in overall family stability was seen among housewives based on the type of dwelling, with independent living being more favorable. The researchers suggest that experts in the field of household management, institutions, ministries, and specialized media programs focused on the family should create awareness campaigns to educate people on effectively resolving marital conflicts, with the ultimate goal of achieving family stability
