Motivations and Obstacles of E-learning and its Relationship to Managing the Independent Behavior of Secondary School Students

Abstract

Youth are the capital of the nation, and they are the actual wealth that exceeds its wealth. If governments understood how to preserve youth, they would not be able to fulfill their mission of building nations. Therefore, the research aims to study the level of e-learning incentives with its dimensions, the level of obstacles to e-learning with its dimensions, and the level of managing independent behavior with its axes. The tools were prepared: a general data form for the student and his family, a questionnaire for the incentives and obstacles of e-learning, and a questionnaire for managing independent behavior for high school students. The study sample included 300 students, who were analyzed statistically using the Spss 21 program. The results showed that there was a statistically significant correlation between the stimuli and obstacles of e-learning and the management of independent behavior. It also showed that there are statistical differences between secondary school students with the stimuli and obstacles of e-learning in their dimensions and the management of independent behavior in its axes according to the type (male-female) and according to the presence of a net at home, and according to the class, so we recommend the cooperation of the ministries of Education and Communications, through several measures to pay attention to rehabilitating and equipping the infrastructure in schools.
