Abstract

Current research aims to design and produce an educational unit using hypermedia to develop self-learning skills to design a pattern for children's clothing using the Gemini program for Technology College students. Measuring the effectiveness of the educational unit in developing students' knowledge and skills, the research sample consisted of 25 students in the second level - Department of Clothing Industrial Technical Institute Shubra - College of Technology in Materia. The research tools contain a form that evaluates the educational unit, pre/post achievement test, pre/post skills test, and skill performance estimation scale. The results of the research found that there is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of students in the pre/post application of the academic unit to design a girl's dress on the basic pattern using the Gemini program in favor of the post application, there is also a statistically significant difference between the average scores of students in the pre/post achievement test in favor of the post application, and there is a statistically significant difference between the average grades of students in the pre/post application of the measure of skill performance to design a girl's dress on the basic pattern using the Gemini program in favor of the post application.
