The Value System of University Youth and its Reflection on the Dimensions of their Family culture in the Light of the Implementation of the National Initiative “Mawaddah''

Abstract

This research aims to study the reflection of university youth's value system on family culture dimensions while shedding light on the role of the national initiative "Mawadda," put forward by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, by identifying the initiative's indicative program's effectiveness in providing university youth with family culture dimensions. The study sample included 480 male and female university students enrolled in various (theoretical and practical) faculties affiliated with Helwan University and from varied economic and social levels and 57 students from a lower spring than the original sample. The research tools included the general data form, the university youth's value system scale, and the university youth's awareness of the dimensions of family culture. The research concluded with a set of results. According to the study variables, the results also revealed statistically significant differences in the axes of the value system for university youth in the primary study sample, as well as statistically significant differences in the dimensions of family culture for university youth in the primary study sample. There is also a statistically significant correlation between the value system of university youth with its axes and the dimensions of their family culture at a significance level ranging between (0.01) and (0.05). Data rated & analyze & statistical processors done by Spss program. The study proposed training courses for those intending to marry, teaching them to deal with married life, helping them create their families correctly, and building and relieving family difficulties in society to enjoy captive adaption.
