Effectiveness of Using Numbered Heads In Teaching Home Economics For Developing Achievement and Creative Thinking For Middle Schools Students

Abstract

The research aims to try to identify the effectiveness of the numbered heads strategy in teaching home economics to develop motivation for achievement among middle school students and to develop creative thinking through the ability to generate a new and useful idea that has not been touched before, a skill that enables you to invent unique and unconventional original ideas The quasi-experimental approach and the correlative descriptive approach were used in dealing with the study variables, and the study sample consisted of (60) students divided into two groups, one of them is experimental and studied using the numbered heads strategy. The other is a control one and was studied using the traditional method. The strength of each of them is (30) students at Al-Khadimiya School - in the village Al-Khadimiya - Kafr El-Sheikh Center - Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. The researcher prepared the following tools (Achievement Motivation - Creative Thinking Scale). The results showed a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post-application of the achievement motivation scale for the benefit of the experimental group students. There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the students. The experimental group and the control group in the post-application of the creative thinking scale for the benefit of the experimental group students.
