The effectiveness of peer education in acquiring students with learning difficulties mixed with technical skills for some needle arts

Abstract

Handcrafts are an art that expresses the human spirit through the methods of forming various materials that the individual formulates with new formulations based on his practices and ideas. Technical and aesthetic criteria towards tangible things, so the current study aimed to provide the category of people with learning disabilities with a set of knowledge and skills for the technical mixture of needle arts (crochet and vitamin) to implement some products, by applying the training program prepared on the research sample, which amounted to (16) students with Learning difficulties, and measuring its effectiveness in achieving its goals, to make this group able to open up a space for work and improve its economic conditions, as this group of society deserves all support, and the study has achieved the desired results; The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members in the pre and post applications of the cognitive achievement test and the skill performance observation card. The results also showed that the training program achieved effectiveness according to the effectiveness ratio (Mack Gojian) in developing the cognitive and performance aspects of the technical blending skills. Various products are implemented to support the category of people with learning difficulties, and the products have been well received by the arbitrators, and the study recommended paying attention to preparing training programs for the category of people with learning difficulties and other different groups of society.
