Mothers' Awareness of the Dangers of Electronic Games and its Impact on the Family Relationships of Their Children

Abstract

The research aims to study mothers' awareness of the dangers of electronic games and its impact on the family relations of their children. the research tools were applied to a sample of (470) mothers with children under 18 years of age, and the study followed the descriptive analytical approach. The most important results: there was a statistically significant difference at the significance level of 0.05 between mothers' awareness of the danger of electronic games according to the educational level of the mother, as well as there were a statistically significant difference at the significance level of 0.05 between mothers' awareness of the danger of electronic games and the average The monthly income of the family, also it was found that there were statistically significant differences at the 0.01 level of significance between the average of the external family relations of the children and the nature of the mother’s work., and between the total family relationships of the sons and the type of work of the mother, while it was found that there was a statistically significant difference at the significance level of 0.01 and both. Of the family relations of the children and the total family relations and the average monthly income of the family, and between the external family relations and the type of the mother’s work, as it was found that there is a statistically significant correlation at the 0.01 level between mothers’ awareness of the dangers of games and between the family relations of the children.
