Altruistic Level of Aspiration and its Relationship with Responsibility and learning Motivation among Students of Faculty of Home Economics Menofia University

Abstract

The current research aims to reveal the relationship between the altruistic level of aspiration, responsibility, and Motivation for learning for the Faculty of Home Economics students at Menoufia University. The research used the relational descriptive approach to study the research variables. The current research was conducted on a sample of 186 fourth-year students, male and female, at the Faculty of Home Economics at Menoufia University. The research tools were the Altruistic level of aspiration scale: responsibility scale, Motivation for leering (created by researchers). Results of the study showed a positive and significant correlation at level 0. 01 between the students' scores on the altruistic level of aspiration scale and their scores on the Responsibility scale. There is a positive and statistically significant correlation at level 0. 01 between the students' scores on the altruistic level of aspiration scale and their scores on the Motivation. There is a statistically significant difference at level 0. 01 between the average scores of males and females on the scale of altruistic level of aspiration, responsibility, and Motivation for learning in favor of males. According to disciplines, there are no statistically significant differences between the study groups in relation to the scales of the altruistic level of aspiration, responsibility, and Motivation for learning. Responsibility and Motivation for learning from the sample are predictable through of altruistic level of aspiration.
