Creating Inspired Designs by Merging Arabesque Motifs with the Elements of the Natural Environment and Using them to Enrich Women’s Clothing with Automatic Embroidery

Abstract

Current research aims to develop designs for women’s clothing using the method of integrating the elements of the natural environment and its aesthetic and artistic elements, and arabesque motifs and embroidery on some of their clothes, as there are common aesthetic features between the aesthetics contained in nature and the field of fashion, which are the aesthetic and decorative aspects inspired by the designers. Fashion throughout the ages until the present era, and 20 designs were made by taking advantage of the arabesque motifs and integrating them with the elements of the natural environment in the style of machine embroidery, with the aim of adding a new vision to women’s clothing inspired by the merging of arabesque motifs with the elements of the natural environment and suggesting some. The appropriate designs for women's clothing and taking into account their requirements and needs. The research sample was a group of women (30-40) years old; The research followed the descriptive analytical approach with the application by combining modernity and originality in choosing some attractive arabesque motifs and integrating them with the elements of the natural environment and using them in appropriate designs for women's clothing. The results of the research came to fulfill its hypotheses as follows: There are statistically significant differences between the success of the proposed designs and the achievement of the foundations and elements of the design, the innovative element, and the achievement of the functional aspect of the design, as well as the implementation of the best designs after statistical treatment and the highest rating according to the opinions of the arbitrators.
