The models are now designed by computer aids (CAD) systems, as they lead to saving time and effort spent in preparing models in personal sizes. The current research aims to use one of the available computer applications in drawing clothing models and know the impact of this on the cognitive achievement and skill performance of the students. Experimental sample: It is represented by a group of students of the fourth year, Department of Fashion Design, and the achievement and skill test, before and after, were applied to (40) students. The most important results were: It became clear that there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post-achievement test using the computer to draw models using AutoCAD, in favor of the post-test. It also became clear that there are statistically significant differences between the pre-and post-measurement in the skill test of female students in drawing clothing models using AutoCAD, at the level of 0.01, in favor of the post-test; This confirms the effectiveness of the AutoCAD program intended for drawing models of clothes. Recommendations: 1- Adopting the AutoCAD program in teaching models for training in computer modeling skills. 2- Conducting training courses for the students of the Fashion Design Department to train the skills of using the program in drawing models.
