An Educational Program Using Hypermedia in Merging Crochet Stitches and Leathers to develop woman clothing design skills

Abstract

The study aims to prepare an educational program using hypermedia to combine crochet stitches and leather to develop the skills of designing women's clothing and measure the effectiveness of the program and the extent to which trainees have attained the concepts and skills included in the program. The study tools included a program evaluation form and a pre/post achievement test to measure the extent of skills acquisition, a pre/post skill test to measure the extent of skills acquisition, the arbitrators’ opinion survey form in learning using hypermedia, and the trainees’ opinion survey form in learning using hypermedia. The research followed the experimental approach based on observation, hypothesis and experimentation due to the nature of the research and its variables; the results are: (There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the trainees in the pre and post-application of the educational program, there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the trainees in the pre and post-application of the achievement test in favor of the post-application, there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the trainees in the pre and post-application of the skill test in favor of the post-application, Positive arbitrators’ opinions towards the educational program using hypermedia to combine crochet stitches and leather to enrich the women’s abaya, positive trainees’ opinions towards the educational program using hypermedia to combine crochet stitches and leather to enrich the women’s abaya).
