The strips are among the stimuli that reflect the aesthetic organization and the various plastic capabilities and their addition to making clothes of a unique nature resulting from the diversity inherent in the strips in terms of materials, different widths and the way they are formed. This study deals with the strips and how to design and shape women's clothing in the style of shaping on the mannequin and by using different types of shapes and widths of strips to create designs for women that achieve the functional and aesthetic aspect of clothing. Methods: (26) were designed using strips with different widths and shapes. The designs were presented by: A survey form for the opinions of specialists in taking advantage of the aesthetic and plastic capabilities of the strips in the design of women's clothing on the mannequin. The data were analyzed and statistical transactions were performed using the spas program to extract the results. The results were the consensus of the opinions of the specialists on the proposed designs, as we find that the evaluation of the quality coefficients of the proposed designs are high, as it was found that (22) designs obtained a quality coefficient located at an appropriate level, and (4) designs obtained a quality coefficient located at a level (fairly appropriate). Which illustrates the utilization of the aesthetic and plastic capabilities of the ribbons in shaping evening wear on the mannequin
