Abstract

:  current research aimed to reveal the effectiveness of using Discrepant Events Strategy in Developing of Multiple Intelligences And critical thinking skills In The Home Economics Sciences For The Students Of The Preparatory Stage,  to verify of these research aims, it has been selected Two units of the second middle curriculum and prepare a teacher guide to be taught according to Discrepant Events Strategy. It has been building the following tools: critical thinking skill test and Multiple Intelligences scale, as well as applied them on a sample of students which divided into two groups, (30) students Controlling group and (32) experimental group.
The results showed that:(There is statistically significant difference at level ( 0.01) between average grads of control group and experimental group students in the post application of the Multiple Intelligences scale in favor of experimental group./ There is statistically significant difference at level (0.01) between average grads of control group and experimental group students in the post application of the critical thinking skill test in favor of experimental group ./There is correlation  statistically significant between Multiple Intelligences scale scores and critical thinking skill test scores to the students of experimental group in the post application).
 Finally, The Effectiveness Of Using Discrepant Events Strategy In Developing Of Multiple Intelligences And critical thinking skills In The Home Economics Sciences For The Students Of The Preparatory Stage
