The Effect of Different Textile Structures on the Application of Origami Art on Table Towels to Increase the Aesthetics of the Egyptian Dining Table

Abstract

The current study aims to emphasizing the importance of some textile structures in the production of table towels, taking advantage of the origami art in the implementation of folds for Egyptian dining table linen, the possibility of adding search results to textile and textile courses, and finding new design solutions to beautify the Egyptian dining table using origami art.
Six designs were implemented. Each design was carried out on three textile structures (masters, chiller and atlas) by applying origami art, using two evaluation scales, the first consisting of three axes for evaluation by a number of specialists, Implemented.
The results achieved a degree of acceptance and success in the light of the average assessment of aesthetic, functional and innovative specialists, and there was no statistically significant difference at (0.05) between the averages of the evaluation axes in light of the assessment averages of the evaluation axes (as a whole) On the achievement of the products implemented degree of acceptance and success in the light of the averages of the assessment of home women of the designs executed
