The Invention of Fashion Figure Ruler Set for Drawing Paper Fashion Figure Illustration

The research aims to invent a set of technical rulers specialized in drawing fashion figure that used in paper fashion design illustration, whether female, male or children figure. As the process of drawing fashion figure by the old traditional methods requires high skill by the designer, in addition that process consumes more than half the time required for drawing any design. By using specialized ruler set you can reduce the time spent in the process of drawing fashion figure and overcome the lack of experience and skill of junior and amateurs fashion designers. Moreover, in less than three minutes you can get lots and lots of fashion figure poses with high quality in drawing body lines and dimensions as professionals. Based on the above, the researcher has designed three rulers for Female, Male and Children, each one had containing different parts of the body sorted according to the precise stages of drawing, And then evaluating by (30) specialist professor in the field of clothing and textile and registration as industrial models at the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) with numbers (2014/36956 - 2014/36957 - 2014/36958) and then submitted to register as invention at The Patent Office of Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) with number (1620/2013) and accepted and registered with number (28459), The ruler set was tested on  (100) students from different specialized colleges to ensure the effectiveness of the ruler set in achieving the research objectives, The results of the statistical analysis revealed that there were statistically significant differences between fashion figure drawing methods for Fashion Figure Rulers Set method than other method. The researcher also reached to the effectiveness of the Fashion Figure Rulers Set for drawing the fashion figure in overcoming the lack of experience and skill of the students of the research sample and get high quality fashion figure as the professionals.
