Forty healthy adult male albino rats weighing 150±10g , were used and divided into 8 equal groups, one was kept as a negative control group, while the second group fed on basal diet with cadmium at the level (5 mg/L) in drinking water ( control positive group) for the purpose of poisoning and groups 3 , 4 and 5 rats were fed on basal diet plus Cd (5mg/L) and received 2.5, 5 and 10 ml of respectively. While, groups 5,7 and 8 fed on basal diet and received 2.5 ,5 and 10 ml palm seeds extract  respectively by oral tube  for 28  days. At the end of the experiment, feed intake (FI), body weight gain (BWG), feed efficiency ratio (FER) and weights of liver, and  kidneys  were calculated. Also, Serum liver functions (GOT, GPT, ALP), kidney functions (Urea, CR, ALb) ,lipid profile (T.Ch, TG, LDL,  HDL, ) were determined in serum. Histopathological changes of liver and kidney were examined. The obtained result concluding that feeding with the tested plant parts improved kidney functions and liver functions.
