The Psychological Rigidity Of The Head Of The Family And Its Relation To The Methods Of Dealing With Family Crises

Abstract

The main objective of the research was to determine the nature of the relation between the psychological strength of the head of the family and the methods of dealing with family crises. The research problem is determined by revealing the nature of the relation between the psychological strength of the head of the family and the methods of coping with family crises. The sample consisted of 225 female heads of households, Workers from various economic and social levels, the sample was collected from the governorates of Gharbia and Kafr El Sheikh in a purposeful shell manner. The field application was carried out during January 2017 until March 2017. The research tool consisted of: General Data Form, N dealing with family crises methods (all of which are prepared by researchers).
The main findings of the research:
1. The most common economic crises experienced by female heads of households The research sample is the continuous rise in prices as well as the private lessons and the most types of social crises experienced by female heads of households.
2. There is no correlation between the psychological strength of the head of household and the age of the housewife, the number of the port, the period of marriage, the monthly income, and the relationship between the level of education and the psychological rigidity of the head of household.
3 - There is a correlation between the methods of dealing with family crises and each (the age of the head of the family - the number of children - the duration of marriage - the level of education of the head of the family)
4. There is a statistically significant difference in the methods of dealing with family crises according to the level of psychological strength of the head of household in favor of the high level of psychological rigidity.
5. There are no differences between (for rural women and urban women) and (workers and non-working women) in psychological rigidity as well as methods of dealing with family crises.
6. There are differences between women workers and non-workers in coping with family crises for the benefit of heads of working families.
7. There is a statistically significant difference between female heads of households in the methods of dealing with family crises according to the age of the head of the household in favor of the low-age heads of household.
