ARTISTIC AND AESTHETIC VISION USING SWISS EMBROIDERY FOR THE DECORATION OF THE SHIRT

The paper showed decorate the karo fabrics in general and the foreign shirt in particular by using a group of designs for the foreign shirt and selection of geometric designs, which are embroidered using Swiss embroidery techniques, also to know the opinions of both specialists and consumers in the executed pieces with some Swiss embroidered stitches.
The research sample included 10 specialists who are teaching staff, Department of Home economics in Faculties of Specific Education (Clothes and Textiles) and Faculties of Home Economics (Clothing and Textile). They asked to know their opinions about the designs executed with some Swiss embroidered stitches.
Consumers: A total 50 teenage girl were selected to know their opinions about the executed pieces with some Swiss embroidered stitches.
The research used both descriptive and experimental approach through the implementation of a selections from the free geometric design on the foreign shirt using the methods and techniques of Swiss embroidery.
The results showed that, there is a statistical significance difference between the quality coefficients in the order of the executed pieces (12) regarding aesthetics and the quality implementation according to the opinions of the arbitrators. Also there is a statistical significance differences between the executed pieces according to consumer opinions where the best executed pieces received the highest ratings.
