Abstract

This research aims to investigate the Impact of some machinery embroidery techniques on the Characteristics of sheer fabric (Chiffon& Organza), Implementing the embroidery with different variables like the needle size (12-14), using polyester and metallic thread, the design is categorized into (continuous-non continuous) design. The style of the embroidery used (outline and padding embroidery). To study the effect of these variables on the appearance of the embroidered unit.
The descriptive method was used in the inspective study aspects and the experimental method was used for the experimental aspects in the study. The research tool was a questionnaire to Judge the samples by a group of academic professionals. Some mechanical Characteristics were measured like (Tensile Strength-Elongation at break) of embodied samples. In order to reach the best (material, needle size, embroidery thread, and the best design and style).
*The results were significant for statically variables clear at(0.01)between the embroidered samples which achieved the evaluation (as a whole).According to the academic judges (100%).The best quality sample were samples (7),(16),(29),(30).And the least quality samples 52% is sample no(28) ,from its appearance Characteristics.
*Sample no (2) it was a Chiffon, needle no(12),polyester filling embroidery using polyester thread for continuous design, this sample gave the best Some mechanical Characteristics, So it gave an Ideal quality(91.19)and quality factor (95.45).
*Sample no (23) it was a organza, needle no(12), polyester out line embroidery using polyester thread for non continuous design, this sample gave the lest Some mechanical Characteristics, So it gave an Ideal quality(89.95)and quality factor (44.98).
