The research aims to specify the specifications of the apparel for handicapped children depending on the quality requirements to produce smarts fabrics suitable the handicapped children in terms of performance (Materials and fabric design).
Thermocool textile material was produced for handicapped with yarn count 24/1, twist factor (750 & 580 per meters) with different designs, as plain 1/1, twill 3/1 sateen (3), honeycomb, leno(8).
The researcher recommended more studies and scientific research in the field of smart fabrics for handicapped children, it is in great to pay attention to develop the specifications and standards for handicapped children.
