The Effectiveness of a Mobile-Learning- Based Program in Developing Student Teachers’ Handmade Arts Skills and Attitude towards It at the Faculty of Home Economics

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a Mobile-Learning- Based Program in developing student teachers’ handmade arts skills and attitude towards it at the faculty of home economics , The research sample consisted of (38) female students enrolled in 3rd and 4th grades at the Department of Home Economics and Education,at Menoufia University. The researchers used to achieve the goal of the study a program based on Mobile-Learning- (Prepared by researchers) , an cognitive achievement test in the handmade arts (Prepared by researchers), an observation card of the handmade arts (Prepared by researchers), attitude towards mobile learning scale(Prepared by researchers), The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the study group’s   mean scores in the pre- and post- applications of the cognitive achievement test, and its levels (remembering - understanding – applying) in favor of the pst application . There was a statistically significant difference at (0.01) between the study group’s   mean scores in the pre- and post- applications of the observation card of the handmade arts in favor of the post application, There was a statistically significant difference at (0.01) between the the study group’s   mean scores in the pre- and post- applications of attitude towards mobile learning scale  in favor of the post application ,  The program based on mobile learning is effectiveness in the developing the cognitive and skillful of handmade arts among female students teachers at the Faculty of Home Economics,  According to the results of the study, the researchers presented some educational proposals and applications that can contribute to the development of Handmade Arts Skills
