Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the nature of the relationship between the thinking of the housewife and its role in coping with the pressures of life in its three dimensions (solving problems, seeking assistance, acceptance and surrender) In the rural and urban areas in each of the thinking of the housewife in its axis and its practice to cope with the pressures of life in its dimensions and study the differences between the heads of households in the study sample in the detection of the differences between the heads of households working and non-working in each of the thinking of housewife To determine the nature of the differences between housewives in each of the thinking of the housewife in terms of its role and practice to face the pressures of life according to the level of family income.  The study tools were applied to 200 female heads of households in both urban and rural areas from different social and economic levels. They were selected in a purposeful random way. The study tools included the initial household data form, the head of household thinking questionnaire and the household heads' questionnaire to cope with the pressures.
The most important results of the study were a statistically significant positive correlation between 0.01 and 0.01 among the total number of respondents in the questionnaire. There were statistically significant differences between the heads of households in the rural and urban areas. The study presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which was the activation of the role of social institutions for the family such as counseling and family counseling offices through various means of communication so that the housewife could obtain the necessary advice to increase the learning of new and effective ways to cope with the pressures of life. Many programs are fed by the positive thinking and positive outlook of life.
