Abstract

The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of WebQuest through the Internet in developing the skillful performance in the subject of home economics and its effect on their curiosity. Which gave rise to the researcher assuming the positive effect of Web Quest in the development of skill performance, as well as curiosity for prep school students.
To find out, the researcher used the experimental method using the measurement design (pre / post) for one experimental group, consistent with the nature and procedures of the research.
The researcher designed the web Quest program, which is considered the basis of the application, in which the curriculum lessons were prepared in web Quest way.
The Researcherdesigned the observation car of skillful performance to the practical lessons of the Home economics currieulum for the second pre paratorygrade. As well as designing the achievement test to the subject. Then the researcher designed the measurement of curiosity for the student.
The result of the research showed the effectiveness of web quest in developing the skillful performance
 as well as curiosity for the research sample, which is composed of (40) students.
Therefore, the researcher recommended the necessity to include web quest with  the modern strategies used in modern education, and to conduct training courses for teachers by the ministry to train them in their use. This is because of its positive effect on education
