Abstract

The interest in home clothing, of woman in the different periods of pregnancy and no less important interest in our clothes despite the importance of this type of clothing, and its impact on the mental health of pregnant women because of their presence for long periods at home what he received from the mood swings and changes in physiological, psychological, during periods of pregnancy, And home clothing of the woman with the nature of design and practical (functional) allows the possibility of a unique selection of raw materials, colors and designs appropriate to meet the needs of pregnant woman in terms of functional as comfort and easy of movement and add to the beauty and femininity of woman from an aesthetic standpoint.
Perhaps that is what prompted to study the changes that occur to the pregnant woman’s body that affect her clothing choices, by conveying the desired effect of developing home clothing designs for this period and the justification for responding to it is the feeling of boredom that may affect any woman from repeated wearing of one garment throughout her pregnancy. Where the research problem is summarized in the following questions:
-  Is it possible to create home designs for pregnant women that meet all their requirements?
-  Do existing clothing factories consider the production of home clothes for the period of pregnancy?
The objectives of the research are evident in the following points :
- A study of the types of home clothes that suit the pregnant woman in terms of fulfilling the requirements of wearing comfort, and identifying its deficiencies.
- Learn about this important period in a woman's life and pay attention to clothes and models that suit her during pregnancy.

And Was prepared (10) clothing designs for home clothes suitable for pregnant women, and then these designs were judged, in the Department of Clothes and Textiles in the Faculties of Home Economics in Menoufia and Al Gharbia Governorate by specialized professors through the opinion poll form, then used statistical analysis methods to extract the results of the study and were as follows:

By evaluating the overall quality of the designs under investigation, according to the opinions of the Arbitrators The first design got the first place with an outstanding rating with a quality factor (92.06%), followed by the sixth design, where it got the second place with a very good grade with a quality factor (88.76%), then the ninth design, where it got the third place with a very good grade And that is with a quality factor (88.49%), followed by the fourth design, where it got the fourth place with a very good rating with a quality factor (88.29%), then the second design, where it got the fifth place with a very good rating with a quality factor (87.15%). ), Followed by the seventh design, where it got the sixth place with a very good grade with a quality factor (86.31%), then the eighth design, where it got the seventh place with a very good rating with a quality factor of (83.29%), followed by the third design, where it obtained Eighth place with a grade of very good with a quality factor (82.14%), then the fifth design, where it got the ninth place with a grade of very good, with a quality factor of (80.29%), and finally the tenth design, where it got the tenth place with a good rating with a quality factor ( 77.36%)
It also became clear that the second axis (achieving aesthetic performance) is the best in relation to the rest of the other axes, with a quality factor of (87.13%), and the first design was the best in terms of achieving aesthetic performance, followed by the first axis (achieving functional performance) with a quality factor of (84, 76%) and the sixth design was the best in terms of achieving functional performance, and finally the third axis (design treatment for areas of increase in the body) with a quality factor (84.35%) and the ninth design was the best in terms of design treatment of areas of increase in the body.

From the above, through a discussion of the results, the study concluded that:
1- Home clothing designs can be created for pregnant women that meet all their     functional requirements in terms of achieving the three axes of the study (functional performance - aesthetic performance - design treatment of areas of increase in the body), as the second axis (achieving aesthetic performance) is the best in relation to the rest of the other axes, It is followed by the first axis (achieving functional performance), then the third axis (achieving design treatment for areas of increase in the body).
2- The existing clothing factories can consider the production of household clothes for the period of pregnancy in which an economic clothing product is available that can be modified for use after the end of the pregnancy period.
