Effectiveness Of a Proposed Program for The Faculty Of Home Economics' Students to Teach The Software "Gerber Accumark " to Draw a Pattern

This research aimed at; The preparation of an educational program to learn the drawing of pattern by using Gerber Program ،  Measuring the effectiveness of the program in the pattern making in the development of the skill of students of the College of Home Economics in the implementation of one of the pattern using Gerber Program ، Measuring the effectiveness of the program in the pattern making in the development of the skill of students of the College of Home Economics in the marker making by Gerber program  ،Measuring the effectiveness of the program in cognitive side of the rehabilitation ،The research followed the experimental approach and relied on it in the applied experimental study of the research based on the pre and post tests and the descriptive approach to survey students' views on the proposed educational module to learn the drawing pattern using Gerber Program ،The sample consisted of (30) students of the third division at the department of Clothing and Textile at the Faculty of Home Economics, Menofia University ،The tools of the research consisted of Computer & Gerber Program for learning how to draw pattern, evaluation tools .an achievement test (pre-post) the skills performance test (pre-post).
The research concluded the following results:
- There are statistically significant differences between the averages scores of the students at (0.01) ، (0.05) significance level in the pre and post application of the achievement test and the skills performance test (AccuMark Explorer) , in favor of the post application.
- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the students at (0.01) ، (0.05) significance level in the pre and post application of the achievement test (Pattern Design system), in favor of the post application.
- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the students at (0.01) ، (0.05) significance level in the pre and post application of the skill test (Marker Making), in favor of the post application.
- Positive students’ opinions towards the proposed educational module as a way to learn drawing of pattern by using Gerber Program.
