A Proposed Program For The Employment Of The Service-Learning Projects Decision Teaching Methods For The Development Of Critical Thinking And Reduce Future Career Anxiety For The Student Teachers

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of a proposed program for the employment of the service-learning projects decision teaching methods for the development of critical thinking and reduce future career anxiety for the students teachers Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University, The sample of research had been consisted of (21) teacher student they had enrolled in the fourth year in the Educational Department of Faculty of home economics, and the research depended on the experimental design for one experimental group, and then applied on them the research tools which included (a test critical thinking – a future career anxiety) before and after teaching program.
      Has the results showed statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the scores average of performance of the students who teach in the pre and post applications for test critical thinking, and the measure of future career anxiety in favor of the post test results.
     Also the results revealed the presence of a negative correlation between the growth of critical thinking skills and future career anxiety to the students.         
      In light of the search results the researchers recommended the necessity to employ the service-learning projects to the decisions of teacher preparation programs for training students to community service and development environment and deepening link their programs, the necessity to reformulate the aims of the decisions of the preparation programs of Home Economics teacher so that stresses the importance of the development of critical thinking skills, reducing future career anxiety.
